Welcome as a Care Assistant in our Night Patrol!

In the role of Care Assistant, you will coordinate efforts for the elderly and also perform tasks delegated by the nurse.

You will follow the established guidelines of the workplace and participate in their evaluation while contributing to organizational development. Documentation in our operational system is an important part of the job.

We have a six-week schedule and working hours are scheduled between 22:00 - 07:00, with each night shift being 9 hours long.

Qualifications

To become part of the night patrol in Partille, you must be a trained Care Assistant with a B driver's license. We also require that you have experience working in elderly care with awake night shifts. The tasks include documenting and communicating with many different parties, which requires good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. The work is physically demanding, so you need to be in good physical shape.

We are looking for someone with a humanistic view of people and a positive attitude. You are attentive and communicative in your contact with care recipients, relatives, and colleagues, and you find it easy to build trust. As a member of the night patrol, you should feel comfortable working alone and be able to work both independently and in a team. You need to take your own initiatives and be proactive in your work, as the municipality's support functions are not operational at night. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and can handle acute situations. Furthermore, you are attentive to changes in the care recipient's health and functional status and can implement appropriate measures. As an employee with us, you have the ability to reflect on your own professional practice and actively participate in change work.

Last but not least, you need to be accustomed to and enjoy working with technology and digital solutions. We work with camera supervision and have a mobile working method where you log each visit at the client's home. We also have keyless locks and digital signing of medications.

Ongoing selection and interviews are applied in this recruitment process.

It is mandatory for the position to undergo a digital language test to ensure competence at the B2 level according to the Council of Europe’s standards before the interview. Please note that the process will be interrupted if the language test is not passed. You will need to identify yourself with Bank-ID to complete the language test.
